About the Red Willow Arts Coalition

The Red Willow Arts Coalition was formed in 2009 to promote the arts and provide entertainment events for the lakes area. Our first venture was the successful 2009 “Music in the Fort” followed by the fifteen “Concerts on The Courthouse Lawn” in 2010 through 2013, and 16 in 2014 with the addition of the 4th of July concert. The concerts are attended by hundreds of people every Thursday night.

For 2019 we have lined up 15 wonderful nights of music... a little bit of country, a little bit rock and roll, a little bit of sometjhinig for everyone; and once again it is FREE thanks to the generosity of Anderson Funeral Home, Elden's Fresh Foods, and the individual nightly sponsors. We hope you can make it every Thursday night at 7:00pm and please tell your friends and family. Remember to bring your lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the outdoor setting, and how about some fresh "Popcorn" to help support Milton Science Magnet School Harmony Playground!

Members of Red Willow Arts Coalition (RWAC) are volunteers and receive no financial compensation. We pass a jar during each concert for donations. The sponsorship money helps to pay the performers; but the nightly donations help with advertising, printing and planning future events. We appreciate your support very much!

Red Willow Arts Coalition is a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status which allows larger, tax-deductible contributions. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Rain Policy
We have 5 "no rainout" bands this year. Robbie Vee (June 27), Billyl D & the Crystals (July 11), Bob & the Beachcombers (July 25), Stone Road (August 1), and 70's Magic Sunchine Band (August 8).

In case of rain, these concerts will be re-located to the Alexandria Area High School Performing Arts Center.

Cancellations will be announced to the area readio stations by 2:00pm. We will notify KXRA and KIKV, Facebook and here on our website if a concert is cancelled.
